Rolling
High-yield steel

It is among the strongest structural plates available in the market, with a very high yield strength and consistent properties. Thanks to High-yield Steel Rolling, combined with its ease of processing, it allows for reducing the typically used thicknesses without compromising structural integrity.

S690 and Weldox700 are just a few of the high-yield steels rolled by Sidertaglio Calandratura. The rollable thickness for this type of material ranges from 8 to 130mm. This range may vary depending on various structural and production factors.

At Sidertaglio Calandratura, when we talk about welding, we refer to a submerged arc welding (SAW) process, both longitudinal and circumferential, which can be performed on all major construction materials and pressure vessels. Every rolled tube undergoes non-destructive testing and complies with ASME, AFNOR, EN, DIN, AWS, and AD regulations.

Certification

It is important for us to deliver safe and guaranteed work. Believing in this, we have obtained ISO 3834-2:2005 certification and ASME MARK PRT Section I and VIII Div.1 certification, which attest to the quality of our products. The individuals working with us are trained to comply with and adhere to ASME, AFNOR, EN, DIN, AWS, AD, and AD2000 regulations. We collaborate with various sectors, ranging from mechanical to naval, petrochemical to mining, which are subject to inspections and verifications by organizations such as I.I.S. – Ri.Na. – Lloyd’s Register.

Diagnostics

With high precision. Thanks to advanced inspection tools, we ensure a product of the highest quality and safety. Each welded tube can undergo non-destructive testing, including X-ray radiographic inspection (RX), ultrasonic testing (UT), mechanized ultrasonic testing (UT TofD), magnetic particle testing (MT), and liquid penetrant testing (PT). This enables us to maintain high-quality standards and provide a safe product with targeted inspections.

Low alloy steel2023-07-20T10:11:03+02:00

Low-alloy steel is a metallic alloy primarily composed of iron and a carbon content of less than 2%. This type of steel is valued for its versatility and ability to be shaped into a wide range of forms and products, thanks to its combination of hardness and flexibility.

Wear-resistant steel2023-05-04T12:20:34+02:00

Wear-resistant steel has superior mechanical properties thanks to elements such as chromium, molybdenum, and tungsten. It is used to prevent wear and abrasion in many industries such as mining, steelmaking, petrochemical, and mechanical. It has greater resistance to wear and deformation than other steels, ensuring greater durability and less maintenance of components.

Pressure steels2023-07-17T15:51:03+02:00

Pressure steel is a tough and durable alloy used in the production of components subjected to high stress and extreme conditions. It has high corrosion and wear resistance, making it a reliable choice for many industries including chemical, petrochemical, and mechanical.

Structural steel2023-05-04T12:16:40+02:00

Structural steel is a strong and versatile material used in construction. It has high strength, can be shaped into many forms, and is lightweight, making it easily workable and transportable. It also has high corrosion and rust resistance, ensuring durability over time.

Stainless steel2023-07-20T11:02:34+02:00

Stainless steel is a corrosion-resistant and rust-resistant alloy composed of iron, chromium, and nickel. Appreciated for its elegance and luster, it is used in many sectors to produce durable and long-lasting components.
